Opposite of last week in terms of possession and controlling the game but we still just can’t create chances.
Insanely slow build up, too many fucked up touches and passes. This team is not technically gifted and the players that are flip a coin on when they want to.
Credit to Leverkusen defence for blocking us out down the middle but overall that was a rough game to watch and we really should have changed up formations around the 65 minute.
Without CL and they all look tired as if they played 3 days ago…

This game showed how badly we need wingers and we need to get that so called striker Guirassy out of the team as fast as possible.

Really rough game to watch between the players losing their heads and there being zero support due to a medical emergency (hope they make it and respect the decision by the Ultras).
Tough situation and not like Leverkusen did anything other then the two Schick chances Kobel saved and the Goal but still needed to show more.
Im fully expecting some of our fans to run victory laps about us losing (which is really weird in my opinion) but dont think this loss shows much other then how important our fans are.
Anton’s best game by far, if he reaches this level our defense is set. Guirassy needs to go this summer
Benching Svensson, Silva and Jobe, and then still giving 90 minutes to Guirassy, who looked even more unmotivated and demoralised than usual, is just insane

Sancho in this team would look like prime Neymar(Not really that’s just an exaggeration but my point is he would be such a tidy player in a team of “fighters” with wooden legs).

The best player would have to go to Anton
Jobe Bellingham puts in another solid shift; all he needs to do is stop overthinking on the offensive end.

Silva, perhaps, should have been used as a sub, as I really think he changes games

We are so bad at creating chances. Part of it might be due to Kovac’s tactics. But the squad planning by Kehl looks so horrible the more you think about it. Hopefully we sign few creative players next season who can unlock defences.
I understand why we can’t sack him now, but we can’t plan for Kovac. Sign players that work in many systems and bring someone new in in 2027
Kovac needs to bench Bense and Guirassy a full game next week, play Reggiani instead and Silva and Beier as the 2 strikers
Offensive disaster class. Yes, Guirassy wasn’t good at all but the offensive system in itself doesn’t work because the attackers have no effective wide support and their profiles don’t link well enough with each other.
Right now we have a very defensive setup where we rely on shutting the opponent out and hoping the attackers find some way to score. Our attacking play just doesn’t look good.
The most annoying thing I hate about Guirassy is how he is too damn slow to pass with link up (or just drop down), slows some of the attack too often.

I think it’s somewhat admirable how this team still finds ways to be disappointing.
3rd league defeat of the season and it’s to this Pharmacy Football Club. No clear tactics or game plan, all we know is back pass, pass to wing, cross in the box and pray for a magic trick. Can’t wait til they unload some of these players this summer that don’t even care to fucking run or hustle for the ball.

These guys are playing like they just played an away game in the Champions League, played a midweek cup match, and then arrived at this game.

From the moment on when the fans stopped their support, the game was basically dead. The team was like the support: Missing.
This shouldn’t be an excuse for a professional team, but I feel like with normal support this game would have went differently. Maybe we would still have lost, but I have basically never seen the team as soulless as today and that says a lot considering some bad performances in the past few years. The stadium just felt like we would never score today.
This game is an exception in my books and the performance shouldn’t be rated like in other games, but this special occasion with the missing support should be considered when rating the performance. Of course it’s not the first time we were lacking offensively though.
All the best to the fan. So far I haven’t heard if he made it or not.
Normally a draw. But, with that situation. I take it. Emergency, without fand we’re no greater just normal.
