Not to be a negative Nancy, but I don’t love the fact that we need three missed open goals to squeak by the worst team in the league at home.

Those final 8 Minutes genuinely were my personal hell.

Absolutely in no way good enough. You cannot allow the worst team in the league so many easy chances that could have allowed them to tie up or earlier in the half take a two goal lead. It’s just seriously unacceptable to play this way at home.

Always happy with 3 points of course, but it can’t be that we’re beating Pauli and Heidenheim only thanks to a pen and letting them score twice on our turf while they both still haven’t reached 20 goals all season
Gotta feel for mane and that injury. Was very good on his time on the pitch. Yes we won, but I still really don’t understand the tactical change of taking the best player, which was Jobe Bellingham off the pitch. Unless it was because he needed a rest, I found that completely ridiculous.
Regardless of the sloppy defending in the second half, it felt like vintage Dortmund attacking and great mentality to come down from behind. Onwards and upwards!

Well, at least today no one will be complaining about the game being boring xD
Heidenheim just played their best game of the season. Both goals they scored were unfortunate especially the first with Mane being injured but they missed enough chances that 2 goals scored is fair for them.
Overall I really like how fun this game was, especially second half we really pushed attacking wise but you could see the defensive stability go pre Kovac in the last 10 minutes mainly added time.
Good response from the midweek loss now thankfully a good break before Wolfsburg next Saturday.

I went from feeling hard done and unlucky to be behind on two unfortunate situations. To feeling ecstatic how we came back and dominated. To feeling like wtf is wrong with the defense, how are we letting free runners in the box. Its like how the fuck do you fuck that up so badly… multiple times, like come on.
Getting closer to Bayern two weekends in a row is amazing
Ramaj can become a very good goalkeeper but needs more training and experience
Guirassy is not a good penalty taker
Silva on the pitch creates a lot of good opportunities for the attackers around him
Mane played well until the injury, I liked that was involved in play and not shying away from the build-up
Anton is slowly becoming extremely reliable
Svensson and Couto at the same time creates more attacking opportunities but leaves us a lot more exposed. There were times where Nmecha and Jobe couldn’t cover well enough
We shouldn’t have to clench so hard on a game against Heidenheim

Jeez some of you really won’t be happy unless we win every game convincingly. There was positives and negatives in the game but I’ll happily take the three points any day of the week
We’re our own worst enemy and currently Guirassy personifies this entirely in the span of like 15 minutes.
Guirassy playing his best game in a while is great and all. Does not change the fact that he is one of the most selfish players I’ve ever seen in my life. Had two moments in the game, where the obvious choice is to pass. Robbed both Bellingham and Silva of their first goals in the Bundesliga.
I’m glad for the win – these are the games we would traditionally lose – it was shaky , but the lads got the job done
Non crocodile tear takeaways, i think Bellingham did very well first half, baier is underrated, Mane did also well till injury especially in defending forward and passsing.

You can talk about the shakiness at the very end all you want. If you made a word nap in this sub for the last 10 some years, clench would probably be the biggest word.
If you’re saying the game was boring and we don’t attack enough and create chances “tactical” you’ve totally lost me. We played some really pretty combinations from back to front and created a load of chances.
2 shit goals against and clenching at the end is vintage Dortmund.

To me, the minimum expectation is to qualify for champions league/top 4 finish and make it to the knockout stages of the champions league. Anything less than that is a disappointment to me. Meeting those expectations allows me to
simply enjoy football and enjoy the positives.
Being just 6 points behind this imo incredible bayern side is something we should all be impressed with. This squad on paper really has no business being in a title race, and yet despite all these negatives I read in here, we’re having quite the season. I am slightly disappointed in our champions league performances especially considering the opportunity we had, but again I believe in this team to beat Atalanta and have a competitive match in the ro16.
