Important loss!!
can’t believe that beier played the whole game
Half their best 11 wasn’t playing and we still played like shit and lost. We barely created a chance. Kovac out i’m tired of saying it
532 or 352. Enough of this 3421.
We should have had a 2 goal lead before they scored their first. This Guirassy fall off is ridiculous.
Now we have to play Leverkusen twice and they get the 2nd game at home.
I wish I could care a whole lot about this result but I don’t. Never had any hope for getting top 8.
Once again, this 10 system needs to die. 4 more months of it is too long and the people who made it should NOT be involved with fixing it.
Big matches won this season: Leverkusen, Hoffenheim. And I’m being very generous here
Rough loss. We are lacking quality
Real disaster with the last three Matchdays dropping us from very possible Top 8 into outside of Top 16 and playing either Atalanta or Leverkusen and then either Bayern or Arsenal if we win the first Round.
Mane did really well and Jobe was great overall but otherwise we clearly needed Subs from Minute 60.
Also if Schlotti is actually still trying and not just saving himself for his Summer Move he really is in for a bad time cause Madrid is going to drop him the instant he is even close to this form.
If we manage to get out of the playoffs, we’d have to play either Bayern or Arsenal. We’re so fucked.
I get that there wasn’t any notable motivation to win today, given that we were out of the running for top-8, but still, what a pathetic performance.
idk why but kovac seems to not like yan couto.
no offensive idea. none at all. at no time one could even begin to believe we create a promising attempt.
Lol people expecting us to win this game when half of our starters cant control their first touch. Scream (Name of coach) out all you want cope machines, the fact is it can get much worse.
No words. That was f–king awful.
Man of the Match – the guy selling pretzels.
Almost no chance at all. You can’t expect a good result.
Players seem so bored. I don’t know why.
Having Brandt, Carney, and Couto all on the bench for 80 minutes of the game was crazy.
What to expect when you don’t have any central midfielders on the bench, on the pitch not enough quality, we don’t have players who can make difference like we used before. But I don’t wont to stress to much about this shitty team with no courage, wherever we finished this team isn’t capable of doing anything important in Champions League.
Once again big congrats to Kehl and Ricken for this amazing squad.
Kovac can’t coach against good teams.
first full match I watched since the one against Bilbao…
I’m sorry and I’ll stop (again).
Benfica my saving grace 🙏🏻
Just curous, how did Kovac played his Wolfsburg team on his time over there? Correct me if I’m wrong but I vaguely remember this is how Wolfsburg played before he got sacked.
That combination between Brandt and Chukwuemeka that ended with Carney shooting was the only moment when we looked like we had an idea of what we were doing in attack, and it came in the 95th minute, incredible…
Only players like Silva, Chukwuemeka, and Couto can take this team forward, you always need at least 4 or 5 players with that technical ability in the starting 11, we have only 3 in our entire squad.
Sack Kehl
Look man I’m not a tactician or anything but I’m not having fun watching us anymore, team seems really dysfunctional at the moment. Sucks.
Wonder what the 3 ”Dortmund are monitoring / interested in player X from team Z” spin rumours there will be out there the next couple of days to distract until the next game.
Honestly God we are bad. But Inter stink too. Which makes this even more frustrating.
man Benfica getting top 24 on goal difference on the last minute of the game with the goalkeeper scoring the goal and all this against madrid.
i watched last 5 minutes of that game and it was more exciting than our whole 90+ minutes today.
Bro did y’all see that fucking goal by Trubin vs Real Madrid holy shit what scenesssssssss
(I would say something but everything I’ve been thinking that’s relevant to this thread has been said here already)
This team has 5 x CBS, 5 x 8s and 3 9s…..
This roster is atrocious. We’ve lost against every top team this season, and the games weren’t competitive.
Kovac isn’t the problem, but he’s also not our future. He’s as limited as this squad.
Kehl and Ricken must go.
How Guirassy still got a ticket on the starter-bus is mind boggling after not delivering for such a long time.
It’s just wrong
One of the worst, most lifeless and uninspired performances I’ve ever seen from BVB in the UCL at home. The fact that some supporters chose to leave the stadium before the final whistle (even before Inter’s second goal) is very telling.
What’s more frustrating is not the defeat in and of itself, but the way we played. After that pathetic loss and display against the spurs, the least I expected was a more aggressive, offensive approach to the match tonight. We could’ve and should’ve done much better.
It’s clear at this point that we won’t go anywhere this season playing this kind of football. We need changes ASAP, may they come with Kovac still as our coach or someone else. It’s that URGENT.
All being said, heja BVB! 🟡 ⚫️
