  1. First time in the CL Slot since Matchday 3 (!) even if it might just be for the day.
Gave Kovac a lot of stick but the phase after the Bayern draw where Sahin completely faltered is the one where Kovac has excelled.
I still got some problems with his subs and hope missing out on Ten Hag wont end up bad but he definitely earned next season.
Also not getting any suspensions for next week is huge as is us already knowing every result from the teams that are in the race for europe before our game starts.

  2. Feels like its been years since I seen an actual game plan be implemented on the pitch lol

Our GD right now is probably unassailable for anyone but Mainz. If we get outcomes that leave us in contention for European spots, we probably win ties against any of our immediate competitors.

Super super important game and they’ve got the job done…. and I’m especially grateful for not having to bite my nails until very last moment for once…. Kovac is doing great work with the team

  5. Unbeaten for 5 games, with Bayern and Barcelona being part of them sounds unreal in this season

Still not unclenching until the final whistle on the final day.

Otherwise, good performance and good result.

Lol at Adeyemi to JBG: “What you take 4 hours to do, I can finish in 4 minutes.”

  7. Well fuck me. I never thought I’d say kovac is doing a good job. What a turn around. Sahin was a huge failure, and i feel bad for sahin but thank fuck we didn’t try and stick it out

    This was damn beautiful

I am loving how we are pressing upfront lately

Since the change in formation we have honestly played like a title winning side. Yes we had to grind out some wins but once we add some players and perfect the system I will be very hopeful for next season. I admit I was skeptical of Kovac at first but he has proven me wrong and some.

Guys we’re actually doing this shit. It seemed insane a few weeks ago that we could be 4th but here we are now.

If Kovac was here from day one we would have won the treble or some shut

  12. This is hopefully a lesson for all the sahin apologists, when you can see something doesn’t work it is ok to move on from it. This is nearly the same squad as under Sahin yet it’s playing much better

The change in second half switch back to the 5212 was a total game changer and should be our natural way of playing. Gittens even does better as a second striker than winger now and allows our wingbacks to actually become a threat.

Absolutely loving our backline the effort they’re putting in is exactly what we needed especially with Schlotti out.

Top 4 for now and a huge game next weekend!

So happy for Brandt. He’s finding his form at just the right moment.

Brilliant result, now it is only a matter of keeping the mental strength and win the last two Games hopping for Freiburg to drop some points.
