Rashford best has always been inconsistent.. he now needs to make a leap now into a consistent goalscorer/creator
I think its too early to judge a player that was crap for 2 seasons
Yes and Southgate the mug couldn't see that he was. That goal last night was just what England needed and that coward Southgate didn't play him in case he lost the ball. That's from a Chelsea fan and I am well pleased for the lad.
He fluked a free kick and scored a couple against a knackered Iranian side. Now heβs beaten precisely one championship defender to score a goal. Letβs get some context.
Rashford at his best is among the best.
I think he has improved over this season but the English media are overhyping him. His general play needs to improve still.
Lol it was Burnley He lost posession 22 times and was as bad as Partial Where was Garcrappio the wonder kid lol. Hag will be gone in February and Pochettino takes over wait and see
If you are deluded to think that game had any tactics or style of play you need help At least Kompany has a way of playing thats obvious Hags is hoof it and schoolboy rush. Casemodo lost posession 22 times Β£300k a week been on holiday a month and thats what you get
BTW you should have mentioned Shaw whose leg was broken years ago , as that has to be said every single game since it happened. oh and great save De Fear when it hits his beard ! Dubravka clean sheet proves how bad De Fear is and Dubravka was awful π
Eddie howe would turn rashford into a world beater
Great goal from Rashford last night. π β½οΈ π
If Messi or Mbappe had of scored that goal ya wouldn't hear the end of it. β½οΈππ
It's to early to say there is still a long way to go this season .
What happens now until the end of the season will show if he is at a level where he is a consistently good player .
NO,I could have run through that defence, and i am in my 70S.
Rashford cant tackle,
Rashford cant press
Rashford does not compete Physically
Rashford is not a good passer
Rashford is not a team player and crumbles under adversity
Rashford does not defend
Rashford is fast, gettig slower and a good finisher , He has one trick that suits certain situations or teams
Rashford cant head the ball
For years we have watch Rashford suffer when teams low block
Burnley , I repeat Burnley played like Brazil last night so Rashford got space
Against the Morocco's of this world, there are far far better players to have
As a Liverpool fan , every time they extend his contract along with Martial I laugh with Joy
Alf Ramsey didnt change a winning team leaving Greavsie out and keeping Hurst in..even though Ramsey had pressure to do so….Southgate changed a winning team by leaving Rashford out after scoring in the previous match. One of these managers won the world cup .
Not a world class player ππππ, I agree with quite a lot of Simons comments But his thoughts on Rashford is ass backwards
Rashford does this all the time
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Simon always talks sense
Rashford let his mind wander on matters off pitch in the last 2-3 years, and it ruined is game, he concentrated far to much other stuff rather than focusing on his footballing.
Average England coach didn't play him
Couldn't agree more with Simons mind already being made up on Rashford. He's a top player for us, but it's in patches, if he could find some consistency and take it to another level he'd be up in that world class bracket over time I'd like to think.
Consistency is what makes the best
4 PL goals. πππ
Rashford scores a few goals and suddenly heβs class. There are 50 wingers better than him in world football. heβs English and a Man U youth player so heβs overhyped
Rashford does the bare minimum and suddenly hes world class again πππ
I hate the fact that no one is giving Ten hag credit for Rashford's resurgence.
I agree with Simon on most things and the rashford stuff but in terms of the glazers chants or even protest or other direct action United fans have done ,doing nothing when you have a parasite holding something you love is not an option..so feeling towards them is kept clear and on the table ..theyβre not wanted , they broke in with ski masks on ..but they are going, it was never going to work..so they can sit there like a stubborn little baby ..theyβre still going but they always were ..they have a business with the biggest fanbass in the world that hates them ..never a healthy situation. Simon thinks about direct return to much ..This was a war for United fans ..
The lad has frustrated me for years with his inconsistent performances π€ He needs to be consistently producing at least 7/10 performances every game from now on if he's to be considered a top class player! Same goes to every United player! Expectations have been wayy too low for the last 10 years or so!
Scoring a great goal against a Championship side is hardly a time to be asking if he's back at his best, yes he has improved of late but what a stupid question to be asking now, at least wait till he's played a few games and then decide.
Marcus is world class, when united puts the right pieces around him he will shut many up!
Comparing him to Mbappe…π€£π€£π€£ Rashy is GOOD but not ELITE LIKE MBAPPE. Mbappe is a potential GOAT. Rashy never can or will be.
13 goals 4 assists in all comps this season. Remember he was top scorer in the premier league 3 years ago before his major injury with his back shoulder and ankle w 17 goals that year. Ole had him 20+ goals 2 seasons while injuries. He had a bad last season but now 13 goals 4 assists now heβs not even half way through the season. Heβs on top form.
Bang average
Still baffled at Southgate under playing him at the World Cup,heβs been bang on his game all season and way ahead of Sterling form wise.
