Everton’s final meeting with Arsenal at Goodison Park – exactly 120 years on from the first – ended in a hard-fought 1-1 draw in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off.
The Gunners led at the half-time interval courtesy of Leandro Trossard’s well-taken strike, before Iliman Ndiaye levelled with a cool penalty almost immediately after the restart.

Everton fan deffo not a pen unfortunately every team suffers and sometimes benefits from VAR it's a joke ref has no say anymore VAR is purely for PL to control the outcome of the game I know it sounds mad just my opinion but no one wanted it …wants it.. yet it stays.. the top 4 are so close and bottom 3 it can come down to last game of the season and VAR could easily change the outcome apologies for my rant but sorry Arsenal you were had off with that decision 👌
Arteta @Arsenal has won 1x FA Cup and 2 x community shields. Ten Hag @ Man Utd won 1x FA Cup and 1x EFL Cup. Arteta joined Arsenal Dec 2019, Ten Hag joined Man Utd April 2022 and sacked Oct 2024. They say it's a results driven business in football but not much separating the teams with actual silverware. Everton deserved the draw, Arteta can't get this highly rated team over the line.
