These tackles are career-ending and if acted with intent to inflict serious injury, like this one, the perpetrator should be banned for life. I don't see why this would be an issue – it's inexcusable.
I feel when that intent is shown, the player should still be punished, even if it's retrospectively – straight red +2 match ban…that kind of tackle doesn't belong in the game.

There was a similar tackle on Vini in previous game. La Liga needs to ban players that do tackles like that, they are trying to ruin careers of young players with incredible talent.
