Bukayo Saka enjoyed a dream return to action by scoring what proved to the the winner minutes after coming off the bench against Fulham.

Mikel Merino had given us a first-half lead before Bukayo entered the fray midway through the second, and within eight minutes he was celebrating when he nodded home a neat Gabriel Martinelli flick to seal the points with his 10th goal of the campaign.

Rodrigo Muniz pulled one back three minutes into stoppage-time to set up a grandstand finish, but we managed to see out the final stages to secure back-to-back wins over west London neighbours either side of the international break.

  1. Мое личное мнение, что Мартинелли недооценненный игрок… Всегда старается, иногда не получается, но готов вложиться на 200% за команду…

  2. In his rough patch, Martinelli was forced to work on his left foot floater crosses and cut backs. Now his sense of timing and awarness in this phase of play has improved co nsiderably. Him playing on the right for some time has been a blessing in disguise as the experience to create space near the touchline is transferable to the other flank. Now if he works to better his finishes with both feet he will get even better. He already had good finishing but now it needs to be great. Having 2 skills one of finishing and then that of crossing will make him unpredictable.

Overall i have been impressed with his attitude as he clearly put thought into his performances. He has tried to problem solve. Which is really good.

  3. Number 15, Kivior, is much weaker than Saliba and Gabriel, even in this game he made several positional errors. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets sold to another club in the summer.

  4. Yup, when there is nothing to achieve, some might call it garbage hours, Arsenal are performing well. Even if Arsenal miraculously manage to catch Liverpool on points (which I don’t think so)….Liverpool will still win the EPL by their superior goal difference….so this concludes another trophy less season. You seriously think Arsenal gonna beat Real Madrid and win the UCL???? 😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝
