  1. As a gooner, the way the FA is run reminds me of our neighbours up the road. Celebrating almost winning something, negative football, allergic to success.

  2. It's no surprise that when we ditch the tactics we play better. Southgate plays the most dull brand of football out there. Can you imagine how good we would be if we had an attacking manager

  3. Mark Goldbridge talking the truth about the FA reminds me of how Nigel Farage talks the truth about the issues with Labour and Tory party.

  4. I think your games are just boring af, if the manager was for example Klopp then this team should be averaging 3 goals per game easily, there is just no creativity in Southgates tactics whatsoever

  5. Why not just leave all this till after Sunday, just get behind the lads and start your campaign again after the final, reading the comments is sad, English people hoping we lose just so Southgate can go…You are all a disgrace, get behind your Country.

  6. as a welshman i am glad england reached the final, even tho it was pure luck. This means southgate will be in charge for the world cup…. hahaha.

  7. Given the side we were on the draw we should've had an easy run. But it's the lack of tactics that held us back.
Southgate is a great guy…but this pool of talents need a different direction.

  8. Nail on the head with almost everything you said. Exactly why I didn't celebrate the goals against Slovakia, Switzerland or the Netherlands. The worst possible outcome for England this tournament would be to get to a final and lose, because it pulls the wool over the masses eyes on just how bad we are as a football team. Still yet to score a well-worked team goal in the KOs, Bellingham, Saka and Watkins goals were all great individual strikes and a Kane penalty (which many people think wasn't). I can honestly see it being 3 or 4-0 Spain on Sunday, they've been brilliant all tournament and already beaten 2 of the strongest teams.

  9. hope so. Please anyone elaborate on who you think is a potential and likely successor. Not who does it in your delusional dreams of Klopp or Pep. A realistic, dead cert improvement who is available or would take the job.

  10. what an odd thing to say, England have now gotten into two finals at major tournaments under Southgate and before that we never even close tbf so if he wins on Sunday you are telling me you wouldn't want him to go to the world cup again having won the Euros mmmm. If we lose again then fair enough but if he wins it comon now

  11. HARRY KANE “I’d swap everything in my career to win the euros”

So you’d swap winning nothing for winning something.

    Genius, well done Harry

  12. If rashford plays well he’ll be back in cos he’s a Southgate favourite? He’s dropped him because he isn’t playing well? That point is the stupidest thing I’ve ever ever heard, makes absolutely 0 sense. Why wouldn’t he pick rashford if he’s playing well you idiot. 😂

  13. You are better than Nostradamus. Anyway it was easy to predict. England get there because plays against weak teams. Never in charge of the game just reactive but it's not good enough against top teams.

  14. This team for the most part will be a threat in the next two world cups, but I don’t think they should stick with Southgate. A new vision and a new tactical approach could get this team humming leading into 2026 scoring far more goals and being a solid contender for the Cup.
