The SuperDraft has three rounds, with each team allowed one pick per round – 88 total this year (one compensatory selection).
The first pick goes to expansion side St. Louis CITY SC, followed by the teams that did not qualify for the Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs and beginning with the team with the fewest 2022 regular-season points (3 points per win, 1 point per tie). The remaining positions are ranked by the fewest regular-season points among the teams that were eliminated in the same round of the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
However, some teams moved up or down following trades. The order can be found at the Draft Tracker on mlssoccer.com

Is there gonna be a second draft
This draft is the most irrelevant thing to Major league Soccer. They should end this draft stuff immediately. Majority of these draft picks become MLS nobody’s and don’t translate well to the first division. Let USL start drafting players from the ncaa, that’s a better level to go to coming from college. But with the amount of foreign talents and homegrown players, is the draft necessary??

its a sin the NCAA plans soccer on astro turf football fields. You cant really play soccer on artificial turf.
Let's be honest most of these players will nvr sniff the first team and will be in limbo forever in MLSNP. It will be a miracle if 3 or 4 even makes a name for themselves and become stars and I'm being generous with 4. MLS and USL need to team up. MLS gets the first round and USL get the 2nd and 3rd round. That will make the draft a real SuperDraft! I mean heck MLS teams start skipping at the 2nd round and dont even draft players so what's the point!!!

idk if a draft system works for futbol. if a player is talented, you sign a contract with a team not have teams pick players who they may not be fully convinced is talented.
