Foden is done. Can't play on either wing, and won't get No.10 (or No.8) ahead of Bellingham, Palmer and others. Can't blame his England performances on opposition teams playing a low block because that's all he's ever known as a Man City player.
Foden and Rashford were terrible, Burn and Lewis skelley were very good, but too many passes, back, sideways and no running at defenders with the ball, a good result but pretty boring.
Saka is head and shoulders above everyone else in those statistics at 7:15

Foden was given the euros to play number 10 and did so bad Bellingham had to leave his wing position and become the 10. Pep has built a system around Foden to hide his weaknesses. Foden just isn’t that guy centrally or the wings there are better options for England. Hopefully Tuchel drops him for good

Foden doesn’t under perform he gets overhyped. He has played for Man City now for 8 seasons. He’s 25. He’s not a kid. He has spent most of his career on the left or right of an advanced 3 behind the number 9. He played number 10 for that last 3 months last season in a team with Haaland in front and KDB and world player of the year behind him. He’s NOT. A number 10.
