Personally think if Trent leaves we should be looking however I did believe over the past 2 seasons Connor Bradley has done enough to earn the starting shirt. Not saying he doesn’t need pushing but frimpong would want to start so maybe not for me.

Frimpong on the right, Kerkez on the left…..plenty pace there anyway. We are gonna be getting this now for the next few months but I have a feeling we are going to be very active indeed in the upcoming window. I also feel that most of the deals are already being discussed with the permission of the other clubs. Yesterday highlighted how much we need a proper striker and more defensive midfield cover. The geordies dominated us in midfield yesterday and psg did also…..the lads have been run into the ground and they need some help now.
With all the TAA links to Madrid, he's such a unique player, we won't ever replace like for like. If we use Bradley (he needs to stay fitter for longer that lad does) or Frimpong then it makes us more dynamic on that flank. Yes, we lose the long range passing from TAA but I don't think Slot necessarily wants that option being used all the time. I also think it's very interesting what you said about Alonso maybe going to madrid in the summer…..would he want TAA as his fullback, maybe not.

Hi Dunc, great stuff as usual. I live in Germany as it happens, and have done so for the last 12 years. What I'd say about Frimpong is that he is a decent player who COULD replace TAA. His main asset is his speed. I believe he's the fastest in the Bundesliga.
That said, there hasn't been any firm speculation about him coming to LFC. Would I like him at LFC? I'd say so, yes. He's not the best defender, but I think his pace and technical ability will be a huge boost for us.
Is the more a wing back? Can he play right back as good as wing back????
no brainer at that price. Bradley is brilliant but we need 2 x players in each position if we want to compete on all fronts

He's not a RB he's a wing back, so he won't fit our system.
VVD is the only one that should get a contract extension. The attack needs surgery in the summer and the band aid needs removing. U can always spread the goals around and fill the gap of jota and nunez (not difficult to find). Trent is a RB and can be replaced with a more resolute RB who can put a very good cross in consistently, a top midfielder can fill the gap of trent can offer attacking wise more so than trent ever could. VVD is the one thats irreplaceable, and its a no brainer to make him the top earner
Saying it now, well monitor him while he goes to city.
