Maresca tried since 1-0 and we are top 4 isn't bad ,Badiashille tried defending but still slow at times.We atleast tried to escape their pressure
Smh some of these chelsea fans need to open their eyes. We were without our 3 greatest goal threats today and up against one of the best back lines. Admittedly they are missing players too but we did well considering they slapped us 5-0 last season
This possession based tactics just seem to be such a limiter for a team full of youngsters. It's good if your team has a solid defence or is up and can string passes together but Chelsea just don't have that. The attacking threat pretty much was Neto and Cucurella, the wingers just don't seem to want to take the challenge when they're one on one. Injured players are definitely being missed but man if Arsenal had their attack it would have been a cooking.
I was Enzo Maresca fan from the beginning but now he is doing all these Pep copy and paste tactics. Play practical football and stop all these unnecessary possession going sideways with no intention of scoring. He told us his job is to improve players but so far not one player has improved, even Cole Palmer has regressed. Owners and directors keep buying kids for an inexperienced coach. We are doomed.
