Harry Kane breaks numbers, records and has numerous individual accolades, it seems like the only thing he’s missing is a team trophy. With all this considered, why SHOULDN’T he be considered for the Ballon d’Or as one of the most well-rounded centre-forwards of this generation? Sam Ellard, Andy Brassell and CJ discuss all of Kane’s good bits.

  1. When it was non-English players banging goals in Bundesliga, it was a "farmers league"

But for Kane, his numbers are freakish 🤡🤡🤡

    English BIAS knows no bounds

  2. You take the best striker the world has ever seen, take him out of a hugely underperforming PL team and put him in the best team in a farmers league and what do you get? Why is this even a talking point? Taking Harry Kane from Spurs and throwing him in a Bayern team is more of a no brainer than putting Haaland in a City team. You put Haaland up front for Spurs and Kane up front for Dortmund and see the difference. Shearer is the only striker close to Kane, and before anyone says "Rooney", just check the amount of goals scored and the players for both teams. Shearer and Kane are in a league of their own

  3. Anyone who actually watches the Bundesliga instead of these wafflers knows that Kane shouldn’t be in the running for a ballon d’or, a lot of his goals are penalties ante very often masks a really poor game where he hinders his team by scoring an easy goal, he shouldn’t get anywhere near the ballon d’or

  4. Kane doesn't do enough in open play. Plus take away the penalties and the meaningless goals when Bayern are playing 3rd rate teams then the numbers don't look as great.
Plus he ALWAYS goes missing in the big games. Pass.

  5. German here, Harry Kane will not leave next season, and I'll highly doubt that he leaves before his contract is over. We didn't bought Kane to bank a league title, we bought him to win 1-2 CL titles. And for the same reason Kane took the offer. So even talking about that was rubbish, it's not a possibility in this reality. Chances are there for Bayern to win this year, it depends on injuries, but the form and the spirit in the team is there. Musiala, Davis and Kimmich all signed long term contracts and Kompany is a player's coach, the team loves and respects him.
