SHUT DOWN THE SUB, WE’VE WON AWAY

  1. I feel we’ve always struggled against teams that set up shop, frustrate us and hit us on the counter.

Absolutely irritating but not surprising, WP Plymouth.

  2. Beat top of the league then lose to bottom of the league 3 days later.

    Portsmouth is peak Championship.

Beat the top team at home.

Lose to the bottom team at home 3 days later.

    That’s the Champo.

Only saw the second half but we were shite.

Aouchiche scored a good goal I suppose.

Maybe people will stop thinking we’re automatically safe now, hope it acts as a relaitity check rather than a collapse.

Hopefully we can get a point a Preston so it’s not a loss before the international break.

Is this the most ‘how shit must you be, we’re winning away’ result ever?

Over the last two years we have made a massive contribution to the absolute insanity that is the championship.

    Fookin mentoe Argo

  7. Not one for the purists.

But entirely why Plymouth won. We don’t have the talent to break teams down.

And with an old, slow, midfielder as a centre back two mistakes cost us.

They did their homework – we don’t have anyone to press if the other team doesn’t have the ball.

  8. Last weekend, Portsmouth beat Leeds at home, securing themselves an emphatic win and solidifying their extremely solid home record. Meanwhile Argyle absolutely capitulated against Sheffield Wednesday.

Today, Argyle, without a single win away from home in the league all season, proceed to beat Portsmouth, that extremely solid team at home.

    This fucking league man.

I don’t think this changes the fact we’ll get relegated come the end of the season. If anything this will sting more on the long run because it gives us false hope.

But at least we can go down seeing our side winning a league game away from home. We won’t go down with a 0 wins away record.

  9. Pray this isn’t the start of a collapse at the wrong time. Very uninspiring performance.

  10. Lads, with all due respect, please fuck off, we’ve just found some form ourselves! 😂😭

  11. This one is on JM. Sorry. I think he is a great manager, but this year has shown some naivety and I think there is a bit of hubris that has come with “fortress fratton”

This game looked like the Millwall game. How did Millwall score? I think you could put Hardie’s goal and the Millwall goal side by side and you wouldnt know the difference.

Sadly its not just those games. We didnt score against Luton across 2 games and we narrowly didnt score against Plymouth across 2 games.

We are bad against low blocks – its not a coincidence that we are bad against teams that do not want the ball. PA had to win this. Give them the ball. Sit back and counter and if we draw then so bet it – They havent won away all year so asking them to have the ball and also win is a harder task than playing into their hands.

If JM says anything other than “I am a muppet sometimes and I apologise” then ill be annoyed.

This one is more annoying than the Millwall one and the Luton one. Fuck sake.

Incredibly frustrating game, echoed our loss to Millwall in many ways. Still can’t see Plymouth surviving if I’m honest but annoyed that we’ve given both them and Luton a bit of hope. Still think we have enough to survive despite this one as well.

its the hope that kills you. I did read that our fans had travelled from Plymouth to about Newcastle watching them since our last away win (Newcastle Australia, not Newcastle Tyne & Wear). At least now we are back to zero
