  1. If the World Cup started tomorrow I would probably out JMo on the roster. Hoping this loan goes well so he could maybe stay permanently and hopefully play premier league next year. Also looking forward to Swansea vs. Man City in the next round of the FA Cup. Morris vs. Steffen potentially

  2. I heard Paul Arriola gonna sign with Swansea too. If it happens then Jordan Morris and Paul Arriola could be the combination Swansea needed for promotion.

  3. I still think bundesliga would be the better move for him as the Championship is actually a very physical and tough league, but I hope he does well and helps them earn the promotion to the EPL. Glad hes moving upwards though and glad that he won't be around for MLS so the Seattle Sounders will be a little bit less scary (coming from an MNUFC fan lol)

  4. He'll need the experience against these English teams as that would help him acclimate to the speed and intensity of international football.

  5. As a Swansea fan, this was a great video, found it funny you showed our rotated FA cup team as our main one but whatever, my issue with him is again game time, Jamal Lowe and Andre Ayew seem undroppable at the minuet, and Conor Hourihane is filling the spot that Morgan Gibbs-white's recalling left out, and we play full backs at lm and rm so it is more like a 532 in defense, but where will he play then, I have a suspicion that he may become another Victor Gyorkes, playing at a winger role and brought in as a back up to the strikers, but only came for first team game time when we can't provide that.

  6. If he can play six months in the championship, score the goals to get us promoted (we're one of the favorites for promotion even without him so if he performs that could easily be a possibility.) Then he can possibly sign permanently and continue his trajectory in the Prem. The next six months could really help prepare him for the big leagues. More so than if he jumped straight away to a team like a Fulham or a West Ham. Plus if he has ability he'll be able to show it with us. Just look at how many Swansea players have gone on to top clubs due to how they were able to perform at our club. Granted Boly, Sinclair, Allen, Sigurdsson, James, Rodon etc didn't or aren't doing so good with Spurs, United and Liverpool but they still earned those moves on the back of great performances with us.

  7. I can really see Morris excelling at Swansea. Our club has an incredible manager in Steve Cooper who won the U17 World Cup with England, and he has embraced the strong community spirit of the club in his squad.

But aside from this seemingly suiting Morris’ history, tactically we could really evolve his game.

Look at Jamal Lowe at Swansea. Arrived as a young-ish player who had steadily risen through English football leagues. He was a stronger winger who often cut in to score. Here he plays up top, but in a demanding dynamic role often drifting across the final third to exploit any gaps as the midfield and defence look to keep their shape. He hasn’t been isolated though. We have wing backs instead of conventional fullbacks right now, so that means (in short) that the way we progress the ball towards the goal usually starts out wide to move past midfield lines, before going direct in the final third. But, we also have had great success in transition and counter attacks because of the physical attributes of our forward players.

Jamal Lowe is now our top scorer with I think 6 in his last 6? It would be brilliant to see him and Morris lead the line with the more experienced Ayew dropping deeper to help link the forward and midfield lines!

    And also, great video!

  8. the name "soccer" is English. Short for "Association Football" to distinguish it from Rugby Football. Eventually English school kids just called it "soccer" and hence the word "soccer" isn't American English at all.

  9. Like your comments very much , so as a swans fan I’m pleased he has chosen Swansea , if you look at the way the Swans work , they are firstly a very family type club not a rich club but remember we spent 7 years in the premiership and beat every top club at one time or another. I think ManU and Arsenal were glad to see the back of us, and We are one of the few clubs who beat Liverpool at Anfield . The Swans are like the holadeck for the star ship enterprise that is the Premier, in other words we seem to be a good stepping stone , which is not always a good thing, but we do give people a chance to develop Brendan Rogers, Potter, Frank Lampart, and Roberto Martenez to name a few , and don’t forget Bob Bradly . We are not frightened of looking outside the box , and have taken some serious stick for that . Jordan looks like his own Guy , likes home looks like he doesn’t want to conform to a typical soccer player, it’s not all about money, it’s about home life too , and there are great examples of players who have stayed at Swansea for just those reasons. Just think last week Jordan sat in the stand watching the Swans win 5 to 1 , to earn a tie with Mancity .Swans are a great club, and I hope if it works out for Jordan he will make his home with us , with the greatest of respect to the Sounders 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇺🇸

  10. Love the videos! I like Morris, he has done well in the MLS. But the time is right now, to test himself in Europe. I am sure he will do well in Swansea. They are fighting for promotion to the Premier League!

  11. I’m proud as an American that Seattle allowed this to happen for Jordan. I know it’s a huge sacrifice for them and it kinda makes up for all the trouble over the summer. U crazy Seattle ! Anyway best of luck to Jordan and Swansea city!

  12. As a Swansea fan im looking forward to seeing him play from what I've seen on YT and read about him he seems a very gifted player and I'm sure he can do a job here ! Happy to subscribe best wishes from Swansea 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿.

  13. Because of his (to me) stupid decisions in the past. I really haven't liked him as a USA fan. But I guess glad he finally figured out he needs to play overseas to stay up with the USA national team. To me the rise of our young European talent is really the only reason he made this decision finally. We'll see if he has the guts to be in a new place and team and out his comfort zone. Hopefully he balls out.

  14. Good video as a swans fan. Really looked promising and adds another attacking player for us hopefully he'll fit well with arriola. Cant expect him to immediately come in the starting 11 probably on the bench.

  15. Morris is eh. I don’t see it for him, he’s a hard worker and I can see why people want him on the team but idk if he will be the guy at Swansea

  16. For him to excel with us we’ve got to give him a chance but with Ayew and Lowe up top I don’t see where he fits in. Which one would you drop? He’s going to have to try to show his potential in training or in cup matches to try and force himself into the team. There’s no point bringing him on for 5-10 minutes at the end of a match like we did with Gyokeres. Hopefully he plays in the FA cup match next Wednesday and puts on a good performance. #STID #YJB 🦢

  17. Jordan Morris looks a good player, he might have chose Swansea as we are a team that can improve a players value, and give him exposure to premier league teams. Plus Swansea owners are also involved with Dc united getting a mls link there

  18. Let's hope the injury isn't too bad, but he just got stretchered off with probable ligament damage. So unlucky too, standing on the ball. I'd be surprised if we see him in a Swansea shirt again, sadly. Poor guy.
