People won’t like me saying this but I’m really concerned that we paid 50 million for someone that’s always injured starting to look like really bad business .
Dont fancy us at all away at Brentford! Team is tired. They've done well but they're ferked. Draw at best. Brentford are shite hot at home and will pick Villa off. 3-1 to the bees, and I am a Villan! We'll get spanked. Love the lucky Brugge result and it gives us a good chance of the 1/4s in CL but are Villa gonna beat either of those opponents???
Not sure how serious everyone else thinks this game is but for me if we don't get the full 3 points then I think top 5 is gone and without some sort of result Europa League is in serious jeopardy as well. We've played a game more than everyone else in and around us for weeks and weeks now, need to get points in the bank and fast.
One thing is for sure, that being we need to locate and target the reason for our inconsistency and apparent inability to compete after UCL games in the league, I can’t buy any of the current views on offer, the teams we are aspiring to be matching don’t suffer as we do so finding out the reason why is imperative to success!. A fully fit squad for the final few games will be amazing. We were running on fumes this time last season. Be good to be able to rotate the likes of Tielemans, Rogers, Konsa etc. Onana brings something different too.
Not going to have enough spaces on the bench! Suddenly, with new signings that have hit the ground running, & players returning from injury, we look strong.
I want to believe onana is gonna come good for us but he’s shown very little in his few cameo appearances……. Not sure we can say we’ve missed him as he’s not really been here for us ….. the lads made of glass 😂😂😂
We have good players on the field, good players on the bench and good players coming back. I think we are stronger now than we have been on the last three months. Many other teams are starting to get some significant injuries, while we have ours returning. I feel we could put a good run of games together and lift ourselves to top five there is not a lot between us and 5th. The stars are beginning to align just at the right time. UTV!!
Would like to see Garcia and Malen have a start and get those match minutes in, as they can’t play CL…would love to see Pau and Disasi CB’s giving Mings and konsa a break and letting Pau get some match minutes in his legs. So I’m guessing of course but here’s my starting 11: Martinez Digne Pau Disasi Garcia Kamara Mcginn Rogers Malen Rashford Bailey. 4-3-3 Predict a win 1-0 up at half time and we score 2nd goal after the break…I think they will score 1 but hope we stick it out with a clean sheet 🤞. Whatever I do hope we get rid of this can’t perform after a midweek game voodoo curse thingy….bring it on!!! UTV
