One of the very greatest individual seasons in history that should've got him the ballon dor but ofc its only a pr award that benzema won for a few ucl games even tho even in ucl mbappe outshined him. the reason psg got eliminated was because of uncalled foul on donnaruma by benzema aka the way madrid always wins. other than that goal benzema scored 2 simple goals and did absolutely nothing for the rest of the match while mbappe dominated the entire team, scored two phenomenal goals and won the penalty that messi missed. he was also the best player in the group stage and had overall most goal contributions that season and scored more non penalty goals than benzema. those are only statistics tho, if u have eyes nobody came even close to mbappe in that season. not the first or last time he was robbed of the ballon dor or other useless trophies
