Isak is world class but he's too injury prone to be a long term solution for any top club. He is the type of striker to give you 20 goals in 20 games and get injury for the remaining 12+ games of a season.

Instead, NUFC have become far too passive and too prone to defending far too deep. If it's a deliberate switch in play, it's certainly not working. Other problem is that the squad lacks depth. There's a reliance on a handful of key players. If NUFC can't up their game, then Liverpool will win the League Cup.
I know it's unpopular to say, but if someone offers £100m for Isak this summer, we simply have to sell. I can't survive another transfer window where the highlight is 1-year contract extensions for players like Lascelles and John Ruddy.
So sell when the offer comes, and bring in a few top-class players, not to mention new energy and heightened competition in the squad.

The FA Cup definitely represented a better chance at silverware. No way are we getting Champions League either. Even getting Europa League would be a miracle. How I'd absolutely love it if I were wrong. So enjoy the likes of Isak banging them in the next few months — him & a few others will be off if we keep celebrating mediocrity.
