Great defender and the best part is we only used 5 million to get him back in 2018 from Boston River, and now he has a value of 28 million! And people got mad we didn't get de Ligt or any other defender when all we needed was to look inside our own Masia.

He is aggressive in a good way, and he closes down the player and actually tries to take the ball (something no other Barca CB has) Pique and Lenglet let the attacker comes to them; they try to read him, but in the process they give him time and space. Araujo on the other hand, doesn't give the attacker any time to think nor act, he goes immediately to close him off and tries to take the ball. He really should be a starter this coming season.
