I see value in him training and improving with the likes of Modric and Kroos there who've basically set the standard for midfielders over the last 10 years. He's 19, I'd want him to go wherever he gets to play at a high level and improve his game

I have a theory…Are the Great players better off playing in weak leagues like in France and Spain, as opposed to the Premiership. In those leagues the risks are less and you do not suffer the same intense pressure as you face in premiership where the bottom placed team will still try and beat you.

Then in a few years time once Pep has left, they both head over to Real Madrid still in their early 20s to write more history together. But it’s so early, anything is possible. Maybe he goes to RM for his whole career maybe he goes to LP or maybe RM first then PL. who knows
