Calafiori should have done better but nevertheless he did his job in slowing down the striker and pushing him away from goal in order to allow the central defenders to regroup and pick out any potential danger running into the penalty area. Once the ball was crossed, Arsenal had FOUR defenders in or around the six yard box to deal with one West Ham striker: yet all four were ball watching instead of picking out Bowen. Atrocious schoolboy defending of the worst kind.
