Don’t worry James next season everyone will forget he played for Arsenal and he will be remembered for winning everything at city
He needs to focus on trying to get assists and crossing the ball well. Then when the assists come in to his game his confidence will rise. He is trying too hard to get that one first goal.
He was mid throughout his career…he was surrounded by silva, aguero, kdb, fernandinho, gundo, mahrez etc at city

Sterling looks like a guy that had every excuse to mail it in and he did. It really stood out because the team won. Thats a huge red flag.
I don't understand why he was brought in, I knew from ages ago that this guy does not fit our system. Anyone who remembers Sterling playing for City and England knows what I'm talking about. The guy has no awareness, ball hogs a lot, no shooting, passing and crossing are sub par, the only thing he had was pace and he was dangerous in the box because of that. That's it
Forget trophies, look at Sterling's goals and assists over his career, when he was in a title-challenging side… His contributions at City were greater than Saka's at Arsenal.
Sterling blew up young, and has played a ridiculous number of games because he's rarely injured – so it's not surprising if time has now caught up with him.

Nobody talks about how Maradona viewed him has England best player 2018.
As a Liverpool fan I knew he would turn out to be a top player.
But these young teenage wonderkids always start to fade before their 30s Fowler ,Owen , Rooney did well to still produce to a higher standard.
People forget Ryan Giggs went through a period of bad form before redefine himself as a midfielder which John Barnes did at Liverpool I think this generation doesn't allow that to happen at big clubs anymore older model is thrown out for a new version.
Playing Sterling up front might work like it did for Manes last season at Liverpool when he was also starting to flag on the left.

Sterling is trying far too hard. He needs to keep it simple and pass the ball instead of holding it on for ages and then losing.
When people like Havertz get the ball, the first thing he looks to do is pass it, Havertz very very rarely gets the ball and runs at players. They is still a good footballer in Sterling but he just needs to keep it SIMPLE

He can only play as a no 9. He cant run he cant beat a man WHY is this fella saying put him out wide? Troussard is 💩 aswell we are short in numbers if Troussard has to start? Out wide ONLY
James says Sterling was scoring goals after goal at City, that was at the start when he was getting chances and only scoring 1 out of 3. In the end Pep kept dropping Sterling as he was too wasteful in front of goal, also the fact Sane surprisingly wanted to leave for Bayern, that gave Sterling the opportunity. James does waffle 9 times out of 10 and most of the time talks no sense, how on earth is Pep the greatest manager of all time, then again, these are on AFTV so you won't get a very good conversation on football.
