  1. U were cooking SO HARD!!!! What do you mean Xavi walked so Flick could run. YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT A MAN, THAT HAS COACHED FROM 1996 AND HAS NEVER LOST A FINAL. Do you THINK he needed Xavi? Week in week out crash out Xavi, the sun was too bright Xavi?? Grass was too tall Xavi?? Man get the hell out. And this is coming from a live long Barca fan. I see Xavi as THE best midfielder of all time. But coaching was just not his thing.

  2. The system that got Xavi sacked was also a 4-2-3-1 that became a stagnant 3-2-5 / 3–2-4-1 in attack. He had not played the 4-3-3 for almost a full season.

  3. Xavi was a good coach but the way he wanted to play the team could not do😢😢😢 he was bringing back the tiki taka but with the players he had it would of never work but nevertheless he had vision like bringing in Inigo, changing kounde from a CB to a RB and more but still wish him the best

  4. Xavi had so many players out due to injury. He was forced to dip into la masia and gave debuts to so many youngsters. Flick is now benefiting from those same players. Xavi walked so Flick could run.

  5. I agree with you completely. I didnt want Xavi to go at first because the players made many mistakes. But it was clear an upgrade was needed.

Appreciate Xavi and tbh Laporta did him dirty

  6. I think Flick's Barcelona has a higher ceiling, it's more volatile, but let's keep in mind how Xavi's Barca out performed Flick's in La liga so far. Also PSG's loss was quite unfortunate.

This Barca is really exciting, more flashy, but I'd love to put some more respect on Xavi's team. The team was even younger than it is now.

  7. Flick has made Barcelona deadly on the counter attack which is a trademark of German teams.

To add to this he's still retained most of Barcelona's philosophy of keeping the ball but instead instead of playing the ball sideways they pass it ahead much more

Under Xavi, on the break Barcelona were never as effective. You have to be decisive in those moments

  8. That was a top class video. Never been here before, but now subbed.
The thing that excites me about what HF is doing is that this team is so young. They will grow, mature, and get better. For the first time in a long time I think we'll rediscover our mojo and be kings of Europe again. Not this year, and maybe not next, but I'm convinced it's coming.
Cubarsi: future team captain, and Puyol 2.0. Generational talent in the position.

  9. You can’t said anything bad to Xavi he did what he could with the resources the team gave him. He did well. But wanna be fans just talked crap. Thanks to what he did we have the treat we have rn. HANSI mastered what Xavi had in mind.

  10. Great video however I would like to put some emphasis on Xavi's achievements especially in his last season.

The last season Xavi coached FC Barcelona we had a larger point tally at the same time this season with Flick.
Xavi finished the season with 85 points this point tally would have almost been enough to win the league last season and the season before however last season Real Madrid achieved a point tally of 95 something they have not done in over a decade.

To give Flick some credit FC Barcelona seem to be more consistent in their performance as well as playing more direct and entertaining football. However a key reason FC Barcelona are only 2 points behind 1st place this season with fewer points is also largely due to Real Madrid's decline in form.

With that said I will continue backing Flick and his more direct playing style and I hope fans will do the same even if Barca finish 3rd with no trophies. Fans have a tendency to quickly turn against the team when things aren't going well like that time against Frankfurt in Camp Nou where the amount of Barca fans were almost a minority. Let's hope that won't happen again

  11. Very good Video man! So well summarized. Flick took what Xavi build and made it more succesfull.
I would advise you to get yourself a better camera and mic setup! A channel of your size would sureley get a boost from that.

  12. Xavi destroyed barcelona, the team was boring and had no spirit. I had not stopped watching barcelona sonce i was a kid when they first signed Ronaldinho. Bro is glazing

  13. Xavi was a failure, and Xavi building the foundations for Flick is purely BULLSHIT. He was asking for signing more expensive players like Bernardo Silva and Zubimendi, while he got Casadó in the B team… Also, the players were playing horribly under him, look at Raphinha under Xavi and under Flick, the difference is SURREAL. Not to mention his HUGE staff of amateurs with the players having constant injuries, look now the players how much they got injured.
NAH, Xavi didn't do shit, and remember, he got 200m in signings, Flick just got 60m and a lot less players. BTW, I'm saying this being a Barça supporter since the 80s and loving Xavi as a player, but as a manager he sucks donkey balls, he needs a fuck a ton of experience and learn to prioritize a really professional staff over a group of amateur friends…

  14. I think xavi lacked the experience more than anything , when you see the changes flick made you realize how important it is to keep every player in the dressing room happy even those who don't play much .

  15. I still remember the malaise that resonated around the club when Koeman was the coach. Dreatful financial situation. Accusations concerning corruption. Delusional coach. Messi leaving. Lots of players that had already been past their prime but didn't want to leave. Headless horsemen like Dembele. And in a situation like this Xavi comes and gives us a 4:0 against Real Madrid. Truly an unforgettable moment.

  16. I don’t know if people realize that Flick is just the one of the best managers in history. There should be no surprise that he’s doing even better than Xavi.

That’s why I was terrified when Xavi got sacked, because there were other names on the table like De Zerbi or Michel; great managers, but I doubt they would improve what we had previously like Flick is doing right now.
