It was never FDJ vs Casado to begin with. Flick has done well with rotation, allowing everyone to pitch in with their individual qualities, by tweaking the play style to be fluid making us quite unpredictable and fun to watch.

Frenkie was incredibly needed in that game against Atalanta alongside pedri. Those two gave us us time on the ball since both are super press resistant when they're under a man to man press, so just saying casado would have made it better isn't fair just because we drew

Casadó hasn't played much lately, but I have absolutely no doubt he will play again. Flick has 6 super talented midfielders he can rotate and some of them can also play as LW or CF, potentially leaving a spot free in the midfield. Sometimes Casadó will play, others De Jong will, even both together or one replacing the other every now and then. Barça fans should be happy the team has such great players.

Thanks really a lot for doing this. I was sad for the harsh treatment Frankie was receiving from lots of people. I always believed he was an excellent player for barca but with a great amount of bad luck. His last injury was a painful one and together with all the trash talks, damaged his self-confidence. Casado is great too but doesn't have the technical abilities of Frankie yet. If Franki works more on keeping his concentration intact and not losing the ball in critical points, he will be one of the greatest halfbacks in the world. By the way, Will you please obtain some credible content about why Flik has discarded Peńa from all competitions. I feel something fishy in the matter.
FdJ is playing well. He is headed to the Premier League at the end of the season. Barcelona needs the transfer funds and, of course, they have some talented young players ready to step up.

I wouldn't say he is back, issue is he wasn't adjusting his game to fit in to Barca, no matter the coach. He won't ever play with a fixed double pivot, so he had to adjust and move the ball faster and not drive so much. I wanted him out because he is great but he wasn't fitting in. That Madrid game I had said it's a Frenkie game, and Flick saw it and made the change. NOW Frenkie is adjusting his game, but he must work on his focus and move the ball faster.
4:22 and this is why he can't play as single pivot and why he is next as double pivot, especially with Busi and even with Romeo before Frenkie got injured. He is not the type to position himself defensively well but with the ball he can be an asset but he must it faster.
Considering he is injury prone and Barca's situation, I would still sell him in summer window if he doesn't extend his contract for 2 more years with lesser salary. He is crucial member but Barcelona have too many injuries concerns. You can never rely on these youngsters below 22 to play all the matches and still remain fit, Lewa is ageing and there is too much pressure on Raphinha as well to deliver.
Araujo and Frenkie are two of the most experienced and matured players but are injury prone. Hence getting 90/100 millions out of these two would be ideal. Eric Garcia is doing well, Inigo is the engine in defense, Cubarsi is doing well and Tah is under talks. Get Tah for free and he will have relatively lower wage as compared to Araujo. Also there will be options for Bernal or Casado in Frenkie's role but yeah they aren't as good as Frenkie is. Also Kimmich is related but even his wage will be higher. We just will get some money in transfer for may be relatively a fitter but older player if Kimmich is the one replacing Frenkie. Brings a monster of a mentality as well.
Sell Christensen and Vitor Roque as well for 40 millions and we are done for one of strikers or left winger. May be should look forward for Striker.
