      United don't play a low block so maguire is useless, he's got no pace and he turns as quick as a cruise liner.
      You can tell when someone doesn't watch the player they are advocating 🤣

      England need to stop pumping up these average players! not saying Maguire cannot play for united but there are clearly 2 better center backs in front of him. It's the same with Declan Rice they keep telling us that he's a £150mill midfielder but all i saw in the WC was an average to okayish central midfielder. England left their most in form striker at home, didn't take an actual world class dead ball specialist in ward-prowse to a knock out competition and the attacking players that could have made a difference off the bench didn't get a sniff lol England would actually benefit from a foreign manager who's not gonna buy into the English hype

      Ray parlor Ur deluded Maguire is a terrible centre back maybe 10 years ago he would have worked but he's as slow as a sloth and the turning circle of an iveco lorry and for those who don't know about the lorry basically can't turn 😂😂😂😂😂😂

      maguire has no chance at utd, just not good enough. International football is much slower than the Premier league and he gets exposed for pace all the time

      The international game is played at a slower pace than club football and this allows Maguire's strengths to be used but in club football, he won't get the time to make those long passes and distribute the ball the way he does for England. I'd like to be proven wrong but I doubt he'll make it at United

      So the other 2 got to the World Cup final, but because Maguire played well against Iran and Senegal, he deserves to be a starter for united again. He was bang average in that tournament. He didnt do anything special at all.

      As I’ve said before, playing okay against mediocre international sides did not prove he was better than Varane and Martinez. As soon as played a half decent striker (Giroud) he was done.

      Please stop hyping Maguire. He's an average CB and he was at fault for one of Irans goals and France's. The reason you rave about his performances are because of his threat in the OPPOSITION box not his own. He had a decent tournament and that's that.

      Maguire was decent but he wasn't excellent or world class. No hate but cmon no need to exaggerate it as he was at fault for 2 goals at the world cup

      Actually makes my blood boil how much the english media tries to force this agenda. Such utter tripe. Was Maguire good in the World Cup? Sure. But let's not get carried away. He was hadly tested. International football is much slower, and Southgate wants his defenders deeper than ten Hag; both thing that work heavily in Maguire's favour. Keeping that in mind, England conceded three goals (I don't count Iran's penalty because it was a joke decision), and Maguire was still primarily at fault for 2. The never ending list of superlatives to describe his performances are so forced.

      His 'range of passing is a myth'. I've pointed this out many times, but his only consistent long ball is to the left winger/advanced left full back, and only when they are in space. It's a fancy looking pass that actually does deceptively little in terms of ball progression, because, the next pass is usually backwards. Him bringing the ball into the attacking half would be seen as one of his major liabilities if the international teams had the quality, and played at the pace of the premier league, because he has no recovery pace.

      Lastly, and most importantly, INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL HAS ABSOLUTELY NO BEARING ON LEAGUE PERFORMANCE. Does my head in every time people try to use his international form to justify him playing for united. He is not good enough for United, we will hopefully have our World Cup winning CB partnership back soon, then ideally we cut our losses on Maguire ASAP.
