happy birthday ream. i was definitely quick to criticize when the results weren't there, but that was mostly rooted in wanting to support the young guys that came up through us in Privett and Agyemang. i did admit at times it seemed like he would try to bail out Malanda and it didn't come off resulting in goals, but since we went to the 3 CBs i think his communication with Privett has been much better. there was a moment in the New England where Ream moved towards the penalty spot top cover a run and Privett moved towards the endline to take the space that Ream left and that interplay is the type of stuff that i enjoy seeing as a fan. i have also mentioned how with him out wide we get to utilize his offensive talents more, letting him move up the field to get in pass range which was also on full display against New England. overall though i am happy that he is willing to take this role on and then we have more options in playoffs of going back to 2 of the CBs if needed or playing a full back 5 instead of this hybrid as they have built up the syngery with each other.
