For the thousandth time, the players have shown that they generally have no idea about football…
Iniesta, Zidane, Xavi, Redondo, Gullit… Then everyone else… Modric is in the top 20 at best. We are talking about pure quality and dominance on the field – about class. Everything else – titles, how long someone has been playing etc. all that is absolutely irrelevant… Only class and quality on the field.

It’s so funny how delusional some of you are and how you only remeber inesta’s prime because he left the top level so early. Modric and kroos were just as good as him but had the longevity but because they played at the top level until now people dont remeber their prime
Zidane was an ATTACKING midfielder not central midfielder like iniesta and modric. If we talk about midfielders, its xavi or iniesta at number one because they both have their own way of playing which is legendary either way, then at number three i think pirlo really deserves it for everything he has achieved, for his longevity and for the fact that his skillset is all round very complete(vision, passing, playmaking, freekicks, penalties, etc)
Number four can go to modric because of how he plays what he achieved and his longevity. And at number five maybe paul scholes, lothar Matthaus or de bruyne which still has a lot of time to play and achieve more.
