Still remember when I was 12, Christmas of 2014 opening up one special present that turned out to be a United Jersey with my favorite player, Di Maria, on the back. It was my first United jersey since the Ronaldo one I had when I was 5, my dad knew how much I liked angel so he got it for me. The gift had me grinning ear to ear as I said thank you to him trying to hide my excitement.
How it turned out afterwards is sad and I lost love for Angel but I don’t hate him. I don’t like hating on players in general because I don’t know what it’s like to be in their shoes.
Not gonna lie when Di Maria left United I was Heartbroken 😢 a player of his stature fits in at any club his failings are on LVG who is the main reason I stopped going to OT after Charlie Austin scored an injury time winner for Southampton in Jan 2016 I vowed never to go back until LVG was gone but more fool me I’d never been to Wembley & seen United lift a trophy 🤦🏼♂️ I would’ve seen them lift the FA Cup had I not been so Hasty 🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️😢👎🏼🏴
