I remember a game VS Leicester at Anfield very well. Mane gave us the lead but we drew. It was Harry Maguire out of all players in hi scored the equaliser. Then we also drew 1-1 with West Ham with again Mane giving us an early lead. Followed by a dire 0-0 VS Man Utd. Before dropping these 6 points we were 5 in front of City & how many points did we lose the league to them by??? 🫤 season 2018/2019 Man City 98 points Liverpool 97 points You can’t be a true LFC fan without knowing this unless you a kid. They won their final 13 games in a row & we won our final 9 games in a row, drawing 3 & losing 1 to City. Let me also remind you that we played City & were 7 points ahead & winning would have given us a 10 point lead but they won 2-1 (Sane winner) to cut the gap to 4 points. We then got a gift the following week from Newcastle as they beat City 1-0 so we needed to beat Leicester to go 7 points ahead again BUT as mentioned above we drew. The lead was 5 points and from there on City dropped 0 points in their last 13 games whilst we dropped 6, the 3 draws mentioned above. All we had to do was win 1 of those 3 draws & we would have won the double as we won the UCL that season. Ok let’s go to 2021-2022 season we on top by 2 points with 5 games left city won all their 5 games and we won 4 BUT drew 2-2 at home with Spurs finishing 1 point behind City otherwise we would have won the domestic treble that season as we won the FA & Caraboa Cups. Or maybe if Salah/Mane had better finishing skills we would have bagged the UCL too hence an unprecedented Quadruple!!!!!!! A true LFC fan will get me and remember all these factors & turning points till they reach their grave. YNWA
I’m a actual Chelsea fan and this is one of the best seasons we had in a long time but even though we lost a fullmal I think we can beat Arsenal to be second place again but I hope Liverpool, lose one game and draw one game so we can be on top but until then come on Chelsea💙
