  1. 🔥 TRUTH 🔥 FA proves yet again that the PL is only great because its foreign players, otherwise we should have seen England winning the World Cup long ago. 😒

  2. Here's my thing. Everyone brings up Tuchel as the replacement, but I really don't understand that. England fans always get on Southgate for not playing open and expansive football and guess what, that's not Tuchel's style either. It's also very defensively based with a back five-stroke-three. And that's even without considering whether he would want the job

  3. Tuchel took a bumass Chelsea team to multiple finals, he’s a cup manager. He’d turn this England team into a world class team, with the add on of Reece James

  4. England are suffering the same issue that United are. Greenwood would have ripped the teams we played apart. What an absolute waste.

  5. Completely agree that Southgate doesn't have the gall to make the big decisions in the big moments. Look at France subbing off Dembele and Giroud in the 41st minute of the final. Changed the game and got them back from 2-0 down to pens.

  6. Southgate's real managerial achievement has been managing the media. Granting them unprecedented access to the England team and camp. And so the media have all become sycophantic Southgate apologists at every turn. Reality is Southgate's a bum. Who cost us Euro 96 when he had no right to be in that squad and is now costing as a manager

  7. Love Brian but disagree with absolutely everything he says in this. Ridiculous to suggest Kane should've been subbed off, he's one of the best strikers in our league's history. Using Chelsea as a narrow-viewed reason to sack Southgate, when City and Liverpool (two teams with more sustained success) do the opposite. And England haven't regressed, is our progress across tournaments meant to be perfectly linear? We outplayed France and that's football, 7/10 times we win that match. Relative to all the other countries we've had 3 great tournaments, if it was easy to beat what was in front of you then Hansi Flick (treble winner in his first ever season) and these great German players would be winning, Luis Enrique (champions league winner) would be winning with this exciting Spain team etc

  8. Not sure either way tbh. I'm fine giving him one last shot at the euros, then get someone new in. Should just ask Klopp or Pep do it part time 😂

  9. Brian saying: Our previous sides weren't good enough to win, we think they were because they were English sides…
Isn't that just as true about this side as previous ones? Considering nobody other than English fans have put England as a tournament favourite in the last 3 major tournaments while England fans are shouting they're the favourites everytime?

  10. My only other manager I’d take (keeping it English) would be Eddie!…personally I think he atleast deserves another tournament, I wouldn’t be suprised either way it goes if he leaves. But at this moment in time I’d love to know a replacement
