  1. He never grasped soccer in general. He’s a high school soccer coach at best.
I hope USMNT don’t get another MLS coach.

  2. Soccer is the ONLY SPORT that the USA is a newbie. Something about our brash personality and knowing that our best athletes are not playing because of the cost or the image of the sport.
In 1994 we had our first taste of success and have had some moderate results since but it may take another 50 years of mass illegal immigration under corrupt administrations like Biden's to lower our culture and finally match a second world stature.
The United States is a contradiction similar to Australia and New Zealand where we the citizens are from other countries (other than Native Americans, Aboriginies, and Maories) we have created our own sports as well have succeeded in the most traditional of all sports like track and field, swimming and wrestling.
We are told that we will never be successful because the cheapest sport around the world is soccer and you only need something round like a grapefruit to kick like they do in the pavillas in Brazil, but we know soccer is one of the most expensive sports to play in the US.
I am enjoying Pete and Tac's podcast because they are exposing the different opinions as CBS GOALAZO and other mainstream shows because we don't trust the opinions of these shills on their take about Greg's leadership and we are suspicious of the foreigners brought in to talk about the sport.
The US for the foreseeable future will continue to turn out elite athletes in Basketball and Football and they will become multi millionaires in less than 6 years when the rest of the world is playing soccer when the potential star is old enough to walk.
And yet the American elites are desperate to join the soccer party and brag to their international friends that the US belongs in the World Cup conversation as a country that is a threat and deserves the rest of the world's respect when the truth of our our failures in soccer is WE ARE NOT POOR ENOUGH TO BE A FORCE IN THE SPORT.
Clearly those who run US Soccer want to be great but are consumed by having an American leadership rather than reaching out to Europe for direction and help to guide the country to respectability.
Clearly Greg was the wrong hire (twice!) yet we are so desperate to think we are so close to having a seat at the table of soccer respectability and perhaps we are but not under Greg. Hopefully we can find the right coach to lead our upper class children to the semi final (or better) of the world's most popular sport; hopefully China doesn't get there first.

  3. Pete and Tac! Bless you two having great soccer knowledge but you are clearly in a soccer bubble because you don't have a clue about the other sports of America especially the popular sports media. Colin Cowherd ( sounds like its spelled COW HEARD) are in one group. They talk about football, baseball, basketball and what the rest of the follows. And your take is they don't know or are worthy to speak about the sport that you love. Honestly you guys are SOOO much more knowledgeable than the American pundits on soccer. But! You owe it to yourself to spend a little of your time to watch these idiots opinions, if nothing more TAC, LEARN HOW TO PRONOUNCE ENGLISH WORDS AND PLACES OF THE COUNTRY OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE.
Both sides need to learn about each other
