Tagliafico would be an absolute steal for the price that Ajax are selling him for. He was in the Argentina team that just won the Copa America. We still desperately need an out & out striker though.

I don't believe a 29 year left back is what we need. Squad is already aging. Would rather see the money spent in CM. We will be replacing him and coufal in a few years. I guess the Club and manager are looking at the now other than the down the line. I would take loftus cheek anyway. He would provide cover and push for a starting position in CM

Exciting times ahead hopefully if all these transfer rumours are to be believed ( what is going on ) what a starting eleven and bench we could have eventually if all these rumours come off , still think we really need a CM/DM ? and a FW ( Laborde ) .
Creswell is good going forward and distribution is amazing but is poor at defending and a big livability when other teams attack. Defending should be his main asset. Same with masuaku. Tagliafico is head and shoulders a better DEFENDER. Can use masuaku more attacking which moves other players forward if maybe we need a second attacker.

If GSB had brought in these 3 players at the begining of the window, it would've helped massively to heal some wounds with the fans, but bringing them at the end of the window does nothing for us.

Defensively cresswell is so poor and teams will always exploit his side. Lacks pace, strength, jumping and let's be honest in attack he'll never try to beat his man because he can't for the lack of pace and will try the backwards/sideways pass or cross in from deep. If he didn't offer assists from time to time we'd be all over moyes to get a replacement. We need to upgrade him
Diop out and Traore in is a no brainer! Loftus Cheek on loan too. Sullivan has a striker up his sleeve. And a Sulley extra special L/B upgrade.
I’d wait til January to get lingard. United still demanding top money even with the contract situation. I say, let the contract run down a bit further, let the value decrease and let jesse’s hunger to play grow. He’s obviously being told that he’ll play some part for united, which is kinda unlikely really. Let united drive him away further then sign him.

Personally, I would have been happier with Sima than Vlasic. Vlasic is fine, but we already have plenty of what he offers. And at that price…idk I fear it could be a Felipe Anderson type signing.
I'm hoping the Vlasic deal was just a ploy to get Man U to sell us Lingard. You know, make them think we're going to find a different player for the position, call their bluff, then they agree to sell us Lingz and we call off the Vlasic deal. I hope so, because we certainly don't need both, and the Vlasic fee is way too high, imo.

I'd love to see Vlasic, Tagliafico and Lingard come in….No to Rondon, Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley though, that reeks of desperation on our part, making signings for the sake of it. Moyes has said so often, that he won't be bringing in players unless they're bringing something to the club…….. We need players that will hit the ground running, there's no time this season to nurture them. We need a squad for both fronts, Europe and the domestic league.
One or two of the aforementioned trio have to give though surely? Unless we're talking loan deals…..Where is all this money coming from that we can sign not only Zouma, but Vlasic, Tagliafico AND Lingard too. We had a transfer pot of between £40-£50 million when the window opened. Plus, we're still burdened with Yarmolenko's salary, which is north of £100k a week.

Clear to me that Moyes is going for quality over quantity which I subscribe to. We have had too many punts on average players over the years which have not worked. Surprised we have not had a punt at getting Lacazette in as he is a proper finisher and going into the last year of his contract.

GEO.. I absolutely agree with you about Rondon.. he was half decent 4years back when spurs were rumoured to be after him but no way now.. his age surprised me aswel I thought he was old in terms of football. But no thanks don't want him.
