Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills left a lot to be desired on the football field hosting a greatly inferior team in the New England Patriots on a freezing cold day in Orchard Park.
The BILLS were down 14-0 early as the defense couldnt get off the field and the offense was completely out of sync early.
Fortunately this is is a team that has the fortitude to hang with their opponents and eventually overcome them, and the BILLS did just that with the help of a huge mistake by Drake Maye throwing a backwards pass from the goal line.

I’m happy they won ( previous years they would not have) but this team is so frustrating at times. The defense early were just awful. How are they supposed to beat Baltimore or any playoff teams? I would at this point be happy with locking the 2 and resting players the last game of the year.

People think these games should be easy to win. Listen even Cleveland, Giants and Panthers beat some teams who thought they were winning because it was an easy game.
Yes, the divisional games can be tougher. At this point in the season though you'd like to see the Bills impose their will on the weaker opponents. The Pats needed an excuse not to care and the Bills didn't give them one. The passing offense was out of synch all game. The running game was working. I'm surprised they didn't lean into it more, or least screens to Ty Johnson or Ray Davis. Slow starts will be trouble for the playoff games.
