Mohammed Kudus was never going to stay at West Ham for the long haul, and the writing was on the wall from the start. The Ghanaian winger’s contract included an exit clause, and his ambitions for European football were clear when he joined from Ajax.

West Ham’s failure to qualify for the Europa Conference League has made it almost inevitable that Kudus will move on. While securing the best possible fee is critical, an agreement in the region of £80m with bonuses seems the most realistic outcome.

In this video, we’ll dive into the factors behind Kudus’ potential departure, his ambitions, and what West Ham can realistically expect from any transfer deal.

  1. Sorry, I have to say this. Why would we let a team ROB us for 10, 20 million. Are you MAD? There's no sale in Jan unless it worth more than the release clause. There will be people queuting up to pay that in the summer. There's no point in throwing good money away. 10, 20 million pound. Play him as the 10. Sign a CF and go from there. Kudus should know that if 100 million comes in, or close to, with enough time to replace, cool, but not less than his release clause. He signed the contract and he has earned his move in the summer, and I rate him for it, but you cant sell for less than the release clause. That's madness.

  2. How can we sell Rice for 100 with a year left on his contract and then go to bottling it on Kudus. Stand firm West Ham. You want the player, pay the fee. Theres a release clause for a reason. Were not doing backwards business.

  3. I think West Ham will regret selling kudus . He is the top dribbler in the premier league, and i think playing him at the right wing or CAM is not a bad idea . Kudus is very dangerous when he is in front of the box.

  4. BTW, im not responding to nutting. Everything I said in the comments is my final view on it all. If we sell Kudus for anything less than 95 million in Jan, im jumping on the Arsenal wave and wishing my own star boy better ASAP. Less than his release clause? Are you DUMB? Get a new manager who the players can trust until the summer. This is Flopateguis fault. And get a CF. And play Kudus as the 10.

  5. Selling kudus will be like selling rice, don’t matter how much we get we wont get a replacement that is of the same level, good for the books but not the staring 11

  6. I think we'd all love to see kudus stay. But if he does go, it will solve the RW bowen/kudus problem we have. They cant both play there. We could reinvest in a proper striker, start Summerville regularly, and give guilherme minutes

  7. I’ll be honest, I don’t want to see Kudus go. I’d prefer it to be Alvarez. He’s more undisciplined and will get more suspensions. City would probably come knocking and it would give us the opportunity to play kudus right AM with Paq left. That’s where Kudus is strong pushing from midfield with his speed and talent. It also means Bowen can stay right wing which is best all round. Thoughts? 🤔

  8. Kudus has missed 5 games this season if that had not happened then who knows he could have been the difference in our results and his possible goals. Kudus is a 100m player imo

  9. Ironically Kudus's exit to go to AFCON last season ended our three game winning streak and started a run of six games without a win! To be fair we also lost Paqueta (six weeks), Antonio (Three months,) and Bowen (tow weeks) all at the same time and then there was Kalvin Phillips.

  10. The Rice legacy has been totally wasted. We will most probably waste Kudus’s legacy too. The club needs to find a replacement owner for Sullivan. We need to move into the 21st century .

  11. I agree with others in here. City can have him if they if Doku is part of the deal or throw every last penny at Duran for whatever price he goes for. Sad to see him keave but having someone who doesn't want to be a the club is just pointless

  12. You said we would get only 80m for rice . Honestly don’t know why I watch this channel. He forgets all past . Kudus has missed a handful of games he’s playing out of position. He’s definitely worth 85m.

  13. Kudus is a much better prospect than Rice would ever be with the English bias. If Rice is worth 100mill you think Kudus aint worth more. Kudus is better than Saka…he is far better playing at the right wing than Bowen …
