      Two teams going for the win. We played some good stuff at time, definitely improved from some other performances. If we can get the finishing sorted we’ll be ok. Love paqueta scoring too.

      Paqueta's English really has improved a great deal! But whenever I see these post-match interviews, I always wish that the guy who conducts them would actually ask questions rather than just making statements that the players typically then rephrase at somewhat greater length.

      You worked really, really hard today. Lucas. Just wish it wasn't RW. Your English has got much better as well. Not rating the coaching, personally. The players, all good, think we have talent in abundance and have all the time in the world for them… the coach.. not so much..

      If he was really interested in the club and the UK he would have made more of an effort to learn the language. He's not for us. The manager is more advanced and despite people saying they can't understand him, he actually manages quite well. English is a very hard language to learn and especially so for the Spanish and Portuguese tongues. English is the third most spoken language in the world with Spanish as the first. And these people have to learn far more than just asking for a beer or a coffee like most UK Fickos on the Costas🍺 ☕️ 😅

      I think it's appalling that the FA, having charged Lucas with improper betting allegations dating back over two years to November 2022, still haven't come up with a single fact or any evidence to substantiate the charges. No wonder he hasn't been at his best in all that time, with these allegations hanging over his head. It's even going to drag on yet more months into 2025, so I'm surprised that West Ham haven't demanded an urgent resolution to the matter. If he was guilty, then the FA would long ago have provided the evidence. Others with more knowledge about Paqueta than me say he is a feisty player and often receives yellow cards. In fact, there are websites out there telling you how to get rich by betting on players getting yellow cards and I wouldn't be surprised if he was a victim of one of those. Meanwhile, nice to see his penalty yesterday but it's a pity it wasn't the winning goal!

      I think all these reports about him not being happy and him wanting to leave etc that we keep seeing, I think it's all bullshit tbh because I think it's clear to everyone how much he loves the club and how much he enjoys playing for us so I think he IS happy and I genuinely believe it would take a lot to make him leave so I hope he can stay for at least another year or two yet
