We need a coach who knows, from experience, modern top national team tactics, who can successfully make adjustments during a match, who will NOT be a buddy to the players, but who can inspire the players to play to their potential. No MLS coach will cut it. Period. Klopp is a pipe dream, but there are coaches available.
I’m not going to celebrate too soon. I am worried about what kind of MLS bozo they will appoint to replace him. These players deserve a huge amount of blame for their failure as well.

Better late than never. What I don’t want to see is US players over in Europe continually warming the bench and not playing and hopefully Weston getting his act together if it’s not too late. I truly hope they haven’t just wasted this four year cycle. I really want to see them do well but was having a hard time with Greg at the helm – same on the women’s side with Vlatko.

If a top European manager Pep/Klopp etc. was available/interested even at $8m a year, I think donors and partners could cover half, the manager himself could raise another 25% hosting events/dinners etc, and USSF covers the rest, it could be done, I am confident in that.
