  1. I came for the Trent interview and I'm staying because this guy is such a respectful and humble interviewer. I had a huge smile on my face the whole time. You sir have earned a sub! Now if you will excuse me I seem to have hours of back catalogue to explore.

  2. Nobody is bigger than the badge. Milner said it best. You ask to loan the shirt and represent us to the best of your ability. Then you leave or retire. And just like Jurgen, we say thank you, and move on!!!

  3. People still fond of Trent Alexander-Arnold have a short memory or have not been following the game long enough to know how it ends. Years ago there was another player by the name of Michael Owen that fans absolutely adored. He was one of our own and we couldn't care less if he was injured or playing badly. Then we lost what affection we had for him when he let his contract run down and forced us to sell him on the cheap. We got 25% of his then market value. That was the betrayal. After that I stopped caring what he did.

What Trent Alexander Arnold is doing is worse. He has no excuse whatsoever to leave when the club is competing at the highest level. That too for "free".

Circling back to the story of Michael Owen. Going to Real I could still feel indifferent. Ending up at United was and is unforgivable. Years at school arguing with gloating United fans but we had Owen! 10 years later he's there and the texts start flowing in.

What are the chances of Trent (next Mr. Ballon Dor) of ending up the same?

  4. 2 things he mentioned I got from this interview Trent doesn't want to put too much meaning into the emotional attachment of being a local lad to make it an obligation since he already achieved all sort of things with the club the second thing is when he said he wanted a legacy he wanted to be remembered as the best in his position to be in the category of the best right backs in history this two things indicate that to achieve what he wants in his career he will choose what fits him not what others impose to him I think it adds more of him wanting to play for Real Madrid because the greatest players in history play there and there is a possibility that a decade of excellence in Madrid will put him in the category of the best player even in his position because actually they make those types of players

  5. You won't build a legacy at real Madrid as soon as you have one bad game they'll be whistling you and hounding you out in the press. I can't think of one Liverpool player who has left Liverpool over the last 7 odd years and done better than they did at Liverpool. Most have fell flat.

  6. He ONLY passes to Salah if he is sure Salah would score and not re-pass the ball and get an assist himself, otherwise he tends to ignore Salah and look for the diagonal Hollywood pass in the hope of getting an assist.

  7. Liverpool are stupid. Pay 500k a week to Trent, Virg, and Salah. 4yrs,3yrs,3yrs. Thats a total cost of 250m including wages for 3 of the worlds best players. We could probably sell them aswell in the future.

  8. From this interview I think it's almost certain he's about to go. But hearing him speak about it makes me a lot more sympathetic to him about the decision, as until now he's been entirely silent as well as putting in a recent baffling performance v Fulham. Just sign a deal and let the club have some money to reinvest please. Otherwise good luck 👍

  9. I came here immediately after the interview to say something. Then saw that prevous comments beat me to it. And I am in total agreement. Roger is a fantastic interviewer. Entertaining, and totally original style. He doesn't rely soley on the players answera for content. Great questions. The biggest complimant I can give Roger is that I don't just watch because of who he is interviewing. I would tune in if he was interviewing a house brick:)

  10. He wont work outside of Liverpool. Hes shit person, you should adress the fans directly cause the ball is in your court anyways in the negotiations. I can tell you without the fans you are nothing. Without you we are less

  11. If he does need up leaving for Real Madrid that mural needs to be vandalised and painted over. He’s as much of a chance to build a legacy and win the balon dor at Liverpool than Real Madrid. He’s going to be ridiculed by the Madrid fans about his defending. He should really look at all the players that left Liverpool and learn from it, the grass is not always greener !!

  12. There is so much hatred for Trent in the comments and so many false accusations. Too many people wrongly already knowing what Trent is going to do. It is so asinine.
