Gareth needs to get his tongue out of tysons ass
Isn't this Chisora fight just a 'fill in' fight to ensure that Tyson stays sharp before the main fight with Ousek next year? The reason he's doing this Chisora fight is more about the time of the fight. It ensures that he's got a fight a few months before the Ousek fight. If there was no fight on the Chisora fight date, Tyson would have gone too long without a fight before the Ousek fight. Tyson has said himself that there's nothing worse for a fighter than a fighter that doesn't fight enough fights (in terms of them being able to step up and be at their best). Obviously the Joshaua fight was the first choice, but Joshaua didn't get back to Fury by the deadline set.
So the Chisora fight is a nothing fight really (at least for the fans). But, for Tyson, it's still one that could cause him damage if he doesn't give his opponent the respect he deserves. As with any fight, one lucky punch and it can be over.
So in Tyson's mind, it's all about the Ousek fight. This Chisora fight in the meantime, is just another fixture. Much like Man City might be preparing for the champions league final in a couple of weeks, but they first have to play a league match away at Aston Villa in a week's time. It's still a match they have to win.
Still, boxing is about entertainment. And nobody is going to be that interested in this fight, I agree.
