In a 12 team tournament if you are a good team you should find a way to be one of the 8 teams that make it to the quarterfinals. After that, you have to win three matches in a row. If the coach adds a foreign based or foreign born attacking player or two this under 20 team should be able to take this tournament. All the groups are balanced. There is no dominant team. If I were the coach I would take this very seriously. As for the players, if any of them are able to make the tournament best 11, they will have a chance of being a real part of the senior team. The senior team is hungry for new young talent that can help. Attention lateral defenders and forwards.
