Ouch. Queiroz is 100% spot on. I've never heard Southgate being questioned by British reporters on political issues regarding England. As Queiroz has rightly just pointed out has Southgate for example ever been asked to comment on UK government's policy regarding sending political refugees to Rwanda? Talking of hypocrisy… (FYI I'm not defending Iranian government; I'm fully behind brave Iranian people; I just hate hypocrisy and mixing up unrelated issues).
I cannot even imagine an iranian journalist asking a question to Southgate regarding impact of Brexit in England or why Liz Truss created so much financial chaos and was the shortest serving PM in history of England. This is pure Western arrogance
