Upamecano steps up instead of dropping back to delay the attack and wait for support. That allows Wirtz to cut the whole defensive line with one pass
It leads to a big chance conceded. Bayern gets away with that: at the end Upamecano clears the ball. But the defensive line is disorganized now. Right wingback Mazraoui doesn’t return to his position
Eric shouts to Upamecano to protect the wide area, Upamecano shouts to Sane to protect the wide area… Everyone is slow to react, no one can stop the cross, Dier doesn’t close the gap between the GK and the line letting this ball across the goal and Sacha Boey sleeps on the far post to let Josip Stanisic (loaned from Bayern) to score
