Brentford fell to a 3-1 defeat away from home against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
Mikkel Damsgaard netted early in a much-improved second period for the Bees, but first-half goals from Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins and Matty Cash saw the hosts claim the spoils.

We didn't play well but VAR really let us down, not a pen for me and Watkins offside for the 3rd
Excellent Goal From Mikel Damsgaard & Goal From Ollie Watkins Ex Brentford FC Forward.

Not good today. Ref didn’t help but that is no excuse. Also, Mbeumo and Pinnock must recover form if we are to have an attempt at getting in the top half.
ピノックの調子が安定しない😢
Absolutely disgusting corrupt refereeing (the game should've been 1-1) but even still Pinnock and Mbeumo were pretty bad 😢
Brentford Away and Home form is so ridiculous
Aston Villa are cheaters
Poor ref with regards to bad tackles not penalised and soft challenges given as fouls. But that wasn't the reason for the defeat. If you don't play a proper midfield for about 60 mins then you expect to get hammered. Janelt played just in front of the back four, Damsgaard was trying to create and Yarmo was overrun in midfield. It would have helped if we hadn't given Rogers so much space. I didn't realise Wissa was playing until he got substituted. Was Thomas waiting until we went 4-0 down before making some changes? Then our second best player (Lewis-Potter) was for some reason substituted near the end. Despite his assist and hat-trick last Saturday, Schade seemed out of his depth. Bryan never got in the game and Ethan's form has taken a dip (he was at fault for two of Ipswich's goals and not close enough to Vardy last Saturday). It's frustrating when you know we can play better. Let's turn it around on Saturday with a win against Newcastle.
The thing is and people forget, Mbeumo wouldn´t be playing for Brentford if he was better. His decision making is at times appalling and the execution doesn´t fare much better when the team is up against the wall. On his good days Mbeumo is fantastic, on this bad days he is just … really bad.
If we go by wages and player by player then Brentford is vastly overperforming, especially due to an extremely hard to beat side at home. With all this said I am tired of watching referees in the PL week in and out just being outright bad.

Not Brentford fan but love the attitude on that title and comments 💪
Flekken is a excellent shot stopper, could have easily been 6 goals for villa.
Thumbnail is pretty lit 😂
