I’m not a huge fan of women’s football but I always liked Emma Hayes the plain speaking Londoner. I think her coaching is giving the USWNT more borrowed time. I think when England correct the huge mistake of the FA in the turning women’s football into a rich white girl sport and more working class and black girls have access to the elite coaching and academies, I feel England will be beyond the USA in technique and skill and will have the athletes to match the USA. England still hasn’t transitioned when the best female athletes play football because they have excluded black girls from elite coaching in the professional era.
this was incredible. thank you to whoever produced it. i think emma hayes is far, far from perfect, but i feel so grateful as an american to call her my manager, and i feel so grateful as a women's football fan that she is such a massive part of this game. what a person.
Bill Shankly said "Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that". This video would seem to prove it.
