Pepi could have had 5-6 goals easily! Love the way the tv camera would show de Jong after every Pepi shot. Unfortunately I don’t see Pepi starting unless de Jong’s rib injury has not healed- they are saving him for the “big” games. I can’t help but draw a parallel between Pepi and Gio – both stuck behind home grown older players who don’t want to ride off into the sunset yet – we’ll see. I really hope Paxton can get an opportunity in March with the usmnt. And finally an update on Paredes – can’t believe they waited through 14 weeks of therapy before going to surgery- he probably could have been back on the pitch by now – who makes these decisions ??????

BTW – agree the Pierre signing is huge for him, Union, and US Youth National Team. How do you rate him compared to Banks and to Max Dietz? Feels like any of those three could be our USMNT center backs of the future.
