Bad move Whitecaps, he got the most out of that roster.
As a Cap’s supporter, I’m sure gonna miss him. It was one midfield mistake by Cubas in game 3 of the playoffs vs LA (at 61’ 15”) resulting in a goal that cost us the game (1:0), the season and his job – that’s not on Vanni ! 😡

The Whitecaps entered the MLS in 2011 and have only ever gotten to the Conference semifinals once in 2015 and lost. Every other season they either failed to make the playoffs or lost in the first round. A 49% winning percentage. You can go and hire a new coach, which of course they will, but until they figure out how to win, this trend of losing season after season will continue. The fans deserve much better. 🇨🇦⚽✅
