Uruguay and Liverpool forward Darwin Núñez has entered the stands to fight Colombian fans following his side’s Copa America Semi-Final defeat.
Núñez can be seen swinging punches at fans, and being hit multiple times as security and police attempt to pull him away in ugly scenes following the match in Charlotte, North Carolina.
A number of Núñez’s teammates were also involved in the scuffle, allegedly kicking off after Colombian fans were taunting Uruguayan players and their families following the match.

Uruguayans left very unprotected! They are always a small crowd coming from a country of 3 million inhabitants, in a stadium full of Colombians! I can only imagine what this would have been like if Uruguay had won the game! All players were probably dead now and all their families too. Very irresponsible Copa America organization with not enough security or police! Very threatening for Uruguayans to even attempt to win this game must have been too!

I was at this game and the stadium had 0 control going into the stadium. The crowd was out of control the whole game, only 2 points of entry for 70k fans, and as soon as the game was over fans were throwing water bottles randomly into the crowd. Pretty poor job by the city
