  1. Pretty amazing since in last euro competition you were very likely to be in this situation if you didnt want to wear it (talks about getting rid of hungary).
Uefa and fifa morals change pretty quickly.

  2. I think other countries should wear arm bands in sympathy for the Chagos island people. They lost their islands to England. There's US and UK military bases in these island today in the Indian Ocean .😭🙏

  3. How about respecting the diversity of nations who recognise the LGBT issues as contrary to their culture and religion? Isn’t it cultural imperialism to impose Western views on sexuality and gender on other nations?
They should just do their jobs of playing football and focus on trying to win that cup.

  4. After your exit from the tournament, go back to England and ask the British Museum to send back the exhibits to their rightful owners. It's ok even if you don't know why

  5. See the list of sponsors behind the athletes. Those are the companies that should know that unless they end their association with FIFA, they will end their association with many consumers.

  6. Gareth Southgate's political party already looked great in the England kit. But I guess he'll withdraw from the tournament if they can't wear the armband, given the strength of his convictions?
