The main problem is that do you really want an English player who don't want to play for whatever reason playing for England and probably putting in little or no effort, compared to someone you had to leave behind that would love playing for his nation team and our in 100% effort.
Personally I think it's fine for a player to agree or disagree at being picked for the national team.

Normally I don't mind simon Jordan but the whole Ben white thing annoys me. If you don't like your job, you leave. He didn't like what he was experiencing at England so he left. Jordan seems like the kind of manager that would make you leaving his business personal.

Ben white is the best right back since a certain Mr. Neville, his link up play with Saka is second to none. He was the 5% that was missing from us winning the World Cup. Ben has to play when Tuchel takes over. If he doesn't, then there would be no excuse. If Thomas doesn't pick him, then we will never play a full strength side.
