This keeper really annoyed me and anyone who doesn’t flame him is a hypocrite. This is what really gets me about football on this stage. All this does is condone this behaviour and basically tell kids all over the world that this is ok and this is what you do to win.
It put a bit of a negative on an amazing final. Why did the French player have to go a retrieve the ball after Martinez kicked it away?! Crazy. Poor kid then missed the kick. This win at all costs attitude is nonsense.

Its crazy that referees will blow for the slightest touch on a player in the box, while ignoring Martinez who has been bullying penalty-takers for years now. But then again Martinez has superb anticipation, just see the way he is moving on the line with full concentration and makes his dive at the last second,….he's damn good but very unsporting.
The English 🤣🤣. France had to win cause it was France that knocked out England, so it would have been that England was knocked out by the champions, but now another team beat the team that beated you.
Well yeah it was pretty disgraceful but then again it's the refs fault for not booking him the first time. It's one of those things that's infuriating if it happens against you but you'd be delighted if your guy did it.
